How we make a difference: Community

Being socially responsible can mean a lot of different things. Here are some ways we work with our stakeholders and community partners to make a real difference.

All our colleagues receive one day paid leave every year to spend time giving back. They can use their volunteering time to support a charity or community group of their choice. In 2023, 44% of our colleagues supported community causes all over the UK to help people from all different walks of life.

We’ve been a partner of Crisis, the national charity seeking to end homelessness, since 2020. Through volunteering and fundraising initiatives, including Crisis at Christmas campaigns and our annual Vida Alternative Marathon, we’ve raised over £150,000.

We’ve run many other charity events, including a ‘Clear out for Crisis’ where staff members donate useful items to others to help. Other colleagues donate their time as volunteers for Crisis and local food banks.
